Biography

Madhav has four decades of experience in legal financial management, operations, and business development, combined with a deep background in corporate finance, financial consulting, and capital markets. As Chief Financial Officer at Frost Brown Todd, Madhav is responsible for ensuring the firm is on track to reach its financial goals, while generating new lines of revenue and retaining key clients. He also works closely with the firm’s senior leadership team to develop and execute growth and profit enhancement strategies, including optimized tax structures and improved inventory realization.

Prior to joining Frost Brown Todd, Madhav was the Chief Financial Officer at two major international law firms where he led the global financial function—including accounting, tax, financial planning and analysis, client accounting, and strategic pricing—and has substantive experience in large M&A transactions, deal negotiation, and post-merger integration. Throughout his decades-long career, Madhav’s tenure has been marked by a future-focused mindset grounded in financial intelligence and strategic execution.

In addition to his CFO responsibilities, Madhav is a highly sought-out speaker and published author whose work has appeared in Bloomberg Law, Law.com, PLI Chronicle, and Law360. He is a visiting professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and was an adjunct professor at the University of Texas Law School and Columbia Law School.
