Jon counsels clients on all aspects of intellectual property law, with a primary focus on patent matters in the mechanical arts. He has assisted a wide range of clients with U.S., international, and foreign patent preparation and prosecution, as well as patentability, infringement, and clearance investigations.
Jon has experience in a variety of technology areas, including wind turbine systems, orthodontic brackets, dental implants, medical devices, liquid dispensing systems, laboratory equipment, robotics, commercial food preparation equipment, solar modules and arrays, automotive parts, marine propulsion systems, mattresses, additive manufacturing systems, and fiber optic communications components.
While attending engineering school, Jon was a co-op with an IP boutique firm in Cincinnati, where he continued to work as a law clerk during his legal studies and later as an associate patent attorney prior to joining Frost Brown Todd.
