Jackson is an Associate in the firm’s Tax, Benefits, and Estates practice group, where he advises clients on a broad range of tax matters. Originally from Nashville, he earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Furman University, a Master of Accountancy (Valuation) from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management, and a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt Law School.
During law school he served on the board of the Environmental Law and Policy Annual Review as a research assistant and gained practical experience through the Turner Family Community Enterprise Clinic and the Housing Law Clinic.
In addition to his legal background, Jackson worked as a CPA (inactive) at a Big Four accounting firm, where he focused on both Business Valuation and Economic and Statistical Consulting. In that role, he assisted clients with intangible asset and complex security valuation, as well as climate risk assessment modelling.
