Heather focuses her practice on advising school districts on a wide array of issues such as special education, due process, student discipline, civil rights, and school board policies, governance, and employment matters. She is passionate about public service and enjoys assisting school entities in troubleshooting and resolving complex problems. She is active in the education law community and presents at local and national conferences.
Heather’s extensive experience as a teacher and school administrator gives her unique insight into the challenges facing school clients. Her years in the classroom and in private legal practice has allowed her to bring confidence, dependability, maturity, and good judgment to her clients.
