Ha-Vi is an experienced litigator who has provided counsel in matters involving fraudulent transfers, contractual disputes, property disputes, business torts and membership or shareholder disputes.
She also has had experience in litigating personal injury, premises security, products liability, construction defect matters. Her experience includes all phases of litigation, including mediation, summary judgment, and trial. Prior to joining Frost Brown Todd, Ha-Vi practiced at a prominent insurance defense firm in Dallas.
Successful bench trial on behalf of sports vendor to enforce a monthly training expense repayment contract. The Court awarded all damages and requested attorneys’ fees. Judgment upheld by court of appeals in Texas.
Defense verdict for home warranty provider on warranty claim outside the scope of contract.
Defense verdict for insurance agency of property damage that occurred in parking lot of business.
Motion for Summary Judgment granted for wrongful foreclosure and trespass to try title action.
Favorable settlement in arbitration for multiple breach of contract claims between technology company and former CEO.
Favorable settlements in multiple commercial and residential construction disputes.
Favorable settlements in pursuing and defending breach of contract disputes.
Favorable settlements in defense of personal injury, premises liability, premises security, and products liability cases.
