Before retiring effective January 2024, George practiced for his entire career as a labor and employment lawyer with Frost Brown Todd and its predecessor firm, Frost & Jacobs.
George’s nationwide experience includes labor negotiations and arbitrations (including MLB salary arbitration cases), employment law trial work and counseling, wage/hour collective actions, and assisting employers with affirmative action compliance and defending OFCCP audits. George’s practice also included sports law issues, serving as chief outside counsel to Minor League Baseball from 1988 until the Minors became franchised by MLB in 2020.
In addition, George is experienced in law firm management, having served as Claims Counsel to the firm from 2001 through 2008, and then as the firm’s Managing Partner and CEO from 2009 until 2018.
Although now retired from the practice of law, George is available to mediate employment disputes (including disputes between law firms and their employees and partners), and as a labor and sports law arbitrator.
