Biography

Over the course of her career, Cynthia has practiced all areas of immigration law before agencies such as USCIS, the Department of Labor, the Executive Office of Immigration Review, and appellate work to the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal. She is fluent in Spanish and has extensive experience providing clients with counsel on best immigration practices through employment, investment, family and humanitarian processes. Her professional interests include nonimmigrant visas such as H-1B, O-1, TN, E-2 and other visa categories, lawful permanent residency for both employment and family-based applicants, and waivers. Cynthia is a member of the Ohio Bar and has been admitted to practice before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. She also serves as the USCIS Columbus Liaison for the Ohio Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

Cynthia is a frequent public speaker and has presented on many topics such as parole, asylum, and general immigration law. Most recently, she presented at the 2024 AILA Annual Conference.
