Biography

Breia focuses her practice on advising school districts on a wide array of issues such as special education, due process, student discipline, civil rights, and school board policies, governance, and employment matters. She also counsels public sector clients including cities, townships, and other public sector entities in matters involving labor and employment, zoning, land use, litigation, and day-to-day operations.

Breia graduated from Michigan State University College of Law. During her time as a law student, Breia represented individuals incarcerated in the Michigan Department of Corrections for the Civil Rights Clinic and had the opportunity to draft a brief and present two oral arguments before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Prior to joining FBT, Breia worked in the legal field as a labor & employment associate and served as an Assistant Public Defender in District Court for the Maryland Office of the Public Defender. She enjoys her work in the public sector and uses her prior experiences to assist her clients.

In her spare time, Breia is an avid reader and enjoys the beauty, architecture, and pace of southwest Ohio.
