Ashley Butz has joined Frost Brown Todd’s Indianapolis office as a partner in the Tax, Benefits & Estates practice group. Butz brings a wealth of experience in estate planning and wealth management, further enhancing the firm’s commitment to providing exceptional service to high-net-worth clients.

As a member of the firm’s Private Client & Wealth Planning service team, Butz will specialize in advising clients on estate planning, estate and inheritance tax matters, charitable giving, and business succession strategies. She has worked as a multi-faceted Indiana Trust and Estate attorney and most recently served as vice president and trust advisor of private wealth management at a prominent bank, where she guided high-net-worth clients in estate planning, financial planning, and investments.
Butz earned her Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University.
Recognized as an Indiana Super Lawyers® Rising Star in Estate Planning from 2020 to 2023, Butz is actively involved in professional organizations, including the Estate Planning Council of Indianapolis and the Indianapolis Bar Association, where she serves on the Executive Committee of the Estate Planning & Administration Section.
In addition to her professional achievements, Butz volunteers with the Washington Township Schools Foundation and participates in the Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build.
