The Los Angeles Business Journal has selected Monisha Coelho and Raúl F. Salinas as nominees for its 2021 “Leaders in Law” award based on their experience, deep business acumen, and extensive board service throughout the L.A. region.
For those attorneys that have made significant contributions to their organizations and communities, only those recognized for exceptional legal skill and achievement across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership as evidenced by the highest professional and ethical standards, and contributions to the Los Angeles community, are nominated and featured in the November 15 edition of the Los Angeles Business Journal. On November 17, 2021, the winners will be announced at a virtual reception.
Monisha was recognized for her strong leadership as immediate past president of the Los Angeles County Bar’s Litigation Section, her demonstrated business litigation experience and growing tech practice. She is dually licensed in the U.S. and India and provides guidance and resources to other women attorneys looking to break into a U.S. law practice.
Raúl was recognized for his 30-year career handling high-profile commercial litigation and his work outside of the courtroom. Raúl sits on the boards of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles, Adventist Health White Memorial Medical Center, and LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes.
Monisha and Raúl draw from their experience to foster a culture of service that inspires the delivery of creativity, quality, and lasting value to the companies, Fortune 100 corporations, and public agencies they represent.
