Frost Brown Todd (FBT) is expanding its Health Care Innovation team with the addition of Nashville Partner Barbara Bennett. Her practice focuses on the intersection of technology and health care, including artificial intelligence. Bennett advises clients, including multinational Fortune 50 companies, on M&A, technology governance, data privacy and security, and business strategy. She previously served as a partner of a top 10 global law firm and has more than a decade of in-house legal experience, including as general counsel.

Bennett handles complex M&A, joint venture and services contract relationships. She has played a key role in establishing and operating global enterprise privacy, security and technology governance functions for Fortune 20 health care services companies.
Bennett’s accomplishments include representing a national health care franchise on the design and implementation of its roll-out strategy and advising a large investment bank on innovative acquisition strategies. She is sought after for her strategic counsel to technology and other companies providing services to the health care industry, as well as to health plans, hospital systems, behavioral health businesses, and pharmaceutical and device manufacturers.
A graduate of Vanderbilt Law School, Bennett is a long-time member of the International Women’s Forum and a former member of Nashville CARES Board of Directors. She was editor-in-chief of a large BNA treatise on Internet health business and transactional law.
