Cindy Bare Brings 20 Years-Experience in Legal Innovation
Frost Brown Todd (FBT) is advancing its data-driven strategic plan by hiring its first Chief Data and Innovation Officer (CDIO) Cindy Thurston Bare. Bare has worked in legal technology and knowledge management at large international law firms for 20 years. Based in Washington D.C., she will lead the firm’s new data strategy department, collaborating with industry teams, practice group leaders, and others to leverage data and technology to best serve FBT’s clients.

Each client has their own needs based on their industry. We aim to truly understand those intricacies, and Cindy’s leadership will allow us to do that.”
Most recently, Bare held a variety of leadership positions at legal technology software company Litera, advising large law firms on data strategy and lawyer engagement. During her law firm experience, Bare acted as the Director of Knowledge Management for two large firms, where she led initiatives to transform client service and knowledge sharing through technology and process innovation.

Bare has her Master’s Degrees from George Washington University in Human Resources Development and from Marymount University in Counseling. She has a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. Bare is a Prosci certified change practitioner.
