Melissa’s practice focuses on general business advising and business and real estate transactions. Melissa has extensive experience representing buyers and sellers in connection with purchases and sales of businesses, including structuring, negotiating, documenting and closing such transactions. She also regularly advises companies on contractual matters, including service agreements, transportation and warehousing agreements, sales and distributions agreements and other matters.
Melissa also has significant experience representing buyers, sellers and developers of real estate regarding purchases, sales, Section 1031 like kind exchanges, property tax abatement and affordable housing tax credit projects.
