As a former federal law clerk for 14 years in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of New York where she oversaw both consumer and commercial bankruptcy filings, Jill is driven to help individuals and businesses achieve ideal outcomes in difficult situations. Jill joined Frost Brown Todd in 2022 as a litigator and member of its appellate practice group to leverage her understanding of the judicial decision-making process to maximize favorable results for her clients. Her background is diverse and includes both public and private sector experience. In addition to her service within the federal judiciary, Jill has acted as counsel to a chapter 7 trustee, in-house counsel to a not-for-profit health maintenance organization, and as counsel to a national law firm specializing in housing and community development law where she focused on real estate and Fair Housing Act litigation.
Originally from New York, Jill is licensed in both Tennessee and New York. Jill is an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and serves on the leadership of ABI’s Legislation Committee.
