Jay advises and represents employers on all aspects of employment law with particular emphasis on OSHA matters and on litigation involving discrimination, workplace harassment, wrongful discharge, and whistleblower claims, as well as actions to enforce non-compete and other restrictive covenant agreements. Jay’s OSHA practice includes advising employers on compliance with safety and health standards, representing employers during on-site OSHA investigations, and handling OSHA litigation matters for employers in a variety of industries. Jay has experience in all phases of civil and administrative litigation and routinely practices before the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and state and federal courts across the country.

Jay also assists employers in creating and improving employment policies and handbooks, drafting employment agreements, preparing and negotiating separation agreements, and navigating the legal issues that can arise from employee leaves of absence, matters of employee discipline, and decisions related to hiring, firing, and reductions in force.
