Biography

Derrian focuses his practice on appellate advocacy and business litigation. He represents businesses, individuals, and other groups, as well as amicus curiae parties, before Indiana appellate courts, and represents a broad range of clients in state and federal trial courts. Derrian also represents clients in product liability litigation and tort and insurance defense.

While in law school, he served as the Executive Articles Editor of the Indiana Law Journal and received top recognition for his successes in moot court and writing competitions. Derrian won first place honors in the Global Antitrust Institute national moot court competition in Washington D.C. and the American Bar Association national antitrust writing competition. During his third year of law school, Derrian served as a judicial extern to Judge Robert B. Altice of the Indiana Court of Appeals.
