Biography

Caroline practices business and tax law, specifically related to employee benefits and ERISA. She has experience assisting with the implementation and administration of a wide variety of employee benefit plans including deferred compensation plans, health and welfare plans, and employee stock ownership plans. She also assists with correcting plan failures and the treatment of employee benefits in mergers and acquisitions. Caroline has been involved in a number of annuity transactions, both in the context of a lift out and plan termination, while representing plan sponsors and plan fiduciaries. Carolineโ€™s practice frequently involves providing employers with guidance on compliance with the Internal Revenue Code, HIPAA, COBRA, and the Affordable Care Act, among others.
