Andrea Costa Laden leads the Business Succession team, which is a cross-functional group of practitioners that share a focus on serving closely-held business owners and their families. She helps high net worth families, business owners, and executives achieve their family, financial, and charitable goals. She also serves as outside general counsel for closely-held businesses and nonprofit organizations.
Andrea’s litigation background allows her to help wealth planning clients navigate probate court and help business clients properly mitigate legal risk. In addition to administering estates, Andrea also helps clients modify or terminate irrevocable trust agreements that are no longer “tuned in” to the needs of the beneficiaries. Andrea has also handled contested matters involving estates, trusts, and guardianships.
One quality that sets Andrea apart from many lawyers is her “head for numbers” – she understands that careful consideration of the bottom line is essential for business owners making any legal decision. Andrea is passionate about empowering her clients to reach their goals and enjoys watching their families grow. She is honored to be a small part of her clients’ success stories.
