  • Frost Brown Todd Columbus Attorney Samantha Quimby Named WTR Global Leader

Only Columbus private practice lawyer included on inaugural list

The head of Frost Brown Todd’s (FBT) trademark law group, Member Samantha (Sam) Quimby, is the only Columbus private-practice attorney named a World Trademark Review (WTR) Global Leader. According to WTR, this first-ever listing of just over 600 attorneys from across the globe are considered an elite group, not only exhibiting “expertise and experience creating, protecting, managing and enforcing critical brand rights, but also the ability to innovate, inspire and go above and beyond for their clients.”. This recognition comes on the heels of Quimby’s consistent ranking in the gold band of the World Trademark Review 1000 (WTR 1000) since 2015.

Quimby represents both domestic and global clients in a wide array of trademark matters such as trademark prosecution, counseling, licensing, enforcement and litigation, including the defense and prosecution of inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.  In addition, Sam assists clients with anti-counterfeiting measures in both the U.S. and abroad, including ongoing enforcement efforts for one of the world’s most recognizable collegiate brands. Quimby also handles domain name enforcement for many notable clients.

She received both her Juris Doctor and Master of Laws in Business and Taxation from Capital University.
