M. Clark Spoden

M. Clark Spoden is a Member of Frost Brown Todd LLC and is an experienced trial lawyer. Prior to joining the Firm, he practiced with Dearborn & Ewing (1981-1992) and was Chairman of the litigation section of that firm for two years. Mr. Spoden had his own law office for two years and then joined Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart in 1994 where he was a partner and shareholder until mid-1998 when he helped start the Nashville office of Frost Brown Todd. Mr. Spoden has been lead counsel in significant complex business, employment, environmental, construction, commodity, and government fraud cases. He has tried cases in federal and state court in Tennessee and elsewhere and has tried arbitration cases in New York, Chicago, New Orleans, and Paris, France.

Mr. Spoden clerked for the Honorable Thomas A. Wiseman, Jr., United States District Judge for the Middle District of Tennessee, 1980-81.
