Marty Tucker Selected for Leadership Lexington 2008-09 Class

July 21, 2008 (Lexington, KY) – Frost Brown Todd LLC is pleased to announce that Marty Tucker has been selected to participate in Commerce Lexington’s “Leadership Lexington” 2008-09 class.
The Mission of Leadership Lexington is to give individuals who demonstrate leadership qualities the opportunity to better understand the city of Lexington and assists in preparing them for challenges it faces. Leadership Lexington is an educational program that allows the participants to meet with and learn from today’s leaders, as well as aiming to “broaden participants’ perspectives and increase understanding of community dynamics and public issues.”
Each year Commerce Lexington selects a class from a group of applicants that reflect the ethnic and cultural diversity of Lexington. The Leadership Lexington Program occurs over a 10-month time span covering topics that include government, media, growth & preservation, education, public safety, economic & workforce development, arts & quality of life, diversity, human needs & services, and leadership development.
Mr. Tucker is a Senior Associate in the Lexington office of Frost Brown Todd LLC. Mr. Tucker specializes in all areas of creditors’ rights law including representing secured and unsecured creditors and lenders in bankruptcy, foreclosures and collections, workouts and restructurings including the representation of business debtors in Chapter 11 bankruptcies and property owners in mechanic’s lien disputes and litigation and a wide variety of business matters including commercial transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Tucker’s clients include regional and community banks and lenders, commercial landlords, property owners and businesses and their principals.
Prior to joining Frost Brown Todd LLC, Mr. Tucker practiced at the Lexington law firm of Sawyer & Glancy PLLC. Immediately after graduating from law school, Mr. Tucker practiced at a boutique law firm in Chicago, Illinois and specialized in bankruptcy law.
